How to get free traffic to your blog


There are many ways to get traffic. I did a little research just to find out how many I could find in 5 minutes and “WOW” talk about fast results.The resources out there are tremendous and here is the first 20 that I found. Provide free advice such as how tos, and downloads Comment on other blogs Respond to your own comments Write with the promise of more of the same (RELATED POSTS) Use social bookmarking sites Set up a bloglet subscription form on your blog Read and comment on other blogs Set up a RSS feed on MyYahoo.com Use http://pingomatic.com/ to ping blog directories Submit your blog to search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN) Submit to blog directories Add a link to your blog in your email signaturePut a link to your blog on every page of your website Have a link to your blog in every newsletter issue.Include a link to your blog in autoresponder sequences, sales letters, reports, etc. Print your blog URL on your business cards Make sure you have a RSS feed URL that people can subscribe to Post often to keep attracting other bloggers Use Trackback links when you quote or refer to other blog posts Write articles to post around the web in article directories And most important – Make a commitment to blog every day. 10 minutes a day can help increase your traffic. Search engine spiders love it! All of these have their place in time “depending on how much experience you have”. So if you are just starting out, do the ones that you understand first.
